"Exercise is good for you."
This was an initiative devised by Murray Vagg so as a memento from his time as CSV President, we are renaming it "Murrays Challenge".
The Bi-Monthly Exercise was introduced to encourage members to practice and complete a small piece of work on a regular basis.
The work is displayed at our general meetings and the winner is selected by the votes of the people attending the meeting. It also provides an information forum where we can discuss different techniques, exchange views and ask for / offer advice.
WE WANT AS MANY MEMBERS AS POSSIBLE TO TAKE PART!
As a matter of interest, when we did our “Postscript” survey, the thing that members most wanted to see in it was (unsurprisingly) calligraphy! Given that, it is probable that members would also like to see more calligraphy at meetings. So, here is an opportunity to make that happen, and put a bit more interest into our meetings.
