Library

The Calligraphy Society of Victoria has an extensive library on calligraphy, the lettering arts, and related paper arts. Magazines and newsletters from Australian and overseas societies are also collected.

Our Library is usually open from 6:45pm on Meeting nights.

CSV members are welcome to borrow from the Library and browse the collection. The In the Library column in the CSV’s bi-monthly magazine Postscript highlights new books and interesting articles from recent magazines.

The Library catalogue is updated annually with a supplement published accompanying Postscript in October; if you would like a hard-copy of the catalogue, please contact the Librarian.

If you would like to donate any items, they will happily be accepted, on the proviso that if they are duplicates, they may be sold for fund raising.

Access:

The Library is located within the Centre for Theology & Ministry (click here for direction), and is open from 6.45pm prior to monthly meetings and for a short time after meetings. Items borrowed are due back at the next meeting.

For members living outside Melbourne: telephone or email your requests to the Librarian. Items are posted to you, with return postage at your expense. Items are generally due back within 2 months.
