Thank You

We wish to thank graphic designer Nicole Shuttleworth who has been doing the layout design for the past year. Nicole who returned to full time study last year will be furthering her studies in Italy and New York. We wish her well, and are now looking for someone to replace her for the coming year.

The Calligraphy Society publishes a well-designed twenty page bi-monthly magazine. It keeps members up-to-date with information on workshops, interesting articles, ideas, news and of course as much calligraphy as we possibly can.

The magazine arrives in your letterbox in a calligraphically-addressed envelope too!  Many of our members live in the country, interstate or overseas so Postscript is an important way to stay up to date. For anyone interested in calligraphy it’s worth joining the Society just for the magazine!

December - January 2012 Edition

This edition contains colour images done by one of our favourite calligraphiers, Olive Bull, along with a wonderful article on her journey through Calligraphy.

Lynne Muir has also provided an article about her recent holiday in Ireland called "All things Celtic" and included some wonderful photographs to go with it.

There is a report on the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society (CLAS) biannual conference held in Sunderland UK.

Also there are workshop reports and interesting bits and pieces as well as the Presidents Challenge for February, an exercise in Numbers.

As always included towards the back in this edition are, besides the President's report, In the Library, On the workshop front, the financial figures, and calligraphy tips.
