The Calligraphy Society publishes a well-designed twenty page bi-monthly magazine. It keeps members up-to-date with information on workshops, interesting articles, ideas, news and of course as much calligraphy as we possibly can.
The magazine arrives in your letterbox in a calligraphically-addressed envelope too! Many of our members live in the country, interstate or overseas so Postscript is an important way to stay up to date. For anyone interested in calligraphy it’s worth joining the Society just for the magazine!
August – September 2010 Edition
This edition comes with a black and white cover this time, the writing created by 3 attendees of Kristoffel Bouden's classes at SSIW 2010. The bulk of this edition centres largely on the great success of our SSIW 2010
A large portion of the credit for the success of SSIW 2010 must go to the co-ordinator Janine Mitchell, who had many difficulties to overcome beforehand, and, as the events were enjoyed by all, a HUGE thank you, must go to Janine.
This time postscript has been designed and assembled by Annemaree Bellman and it could not have been done without the help of many of the SSIW participants who sent in art work, reports, and images at extremely short notice. We are greatful to them for making the effort, and for being willing to share work done in the often challenging environment of a workshop.
Now enjoy reading about all the fun and experiences we had at SSIW 2010, the great tutors, the good company and the fun experiences such an environment can give.
Always included are the President's report, In the Library, On the workshop front, and workshop reports.
